Hot as Hadestown!
July has been a crazy month!
First, I headed to Texas to the North American Irish Dance Championships to photograph dancers who were there competing. This was the first Nationals I haven't had a dancer competing it since 2015 (except for the lovely Covid year of 2020).
It was so hot (how hot was it???) Over 100 degrees each day! Quite a change from when we were freezing at the University of Glasgow back in April! But we had loads of fun with cowboy hats!
I did my shoots in the hotel and convention center which was lovely, cool and had that Texas vibe going! No amount of photoshop was going to fix melting make up, know what I'm saying?
I met dancers from Boston to Vancouver to London in four days! Take a look at some of the sneak peeks! (more to come!)
After Texas I headed right up to God's Country, PA for some camping, hiking and night sky viewing. More about that later!
