When I was asked to photography Alysha's Quinceañera, I admitted I had never been to one before but it sounded fun! And I had a connection to Alysha, who I first met Alysha a few years ago when we hung out in Downtown Lancaster with my girls as models and I mentored her in portrait photography. Alysha does not like formal portraits and neither do I, so we had a great time on part one of the Quince photos, at Greenfield Park.

Of course, I had to include her camera (even if it is a Nikon haha!)

I loved learning about all the cultural elements--the changing of the shoes, the fifteen candles, and seeing the choreographed dance by the girls. Looking forward to capturing more Quinceañeras in the future!
