This girl, my first ladybug from China, turned sixteen!

And even got snow for her birthday!

I really wanted to have a big party, at a fun venue with dancing and lots of friends. But of course, with Covid and the restrictions, we ended up celebrating at home with just a few. Perhaps we can have a Sweet 16 1/2 in the summer! Olivia's serious side as an Irish dancer. Covid cancelled the World Championships not once but twice, as we just learned the 2021 Championships are cancelled. However, Olivia continues to train hard with the Hooley School of Irish Dance "as if" the championships were happening and we have fingers and toes crossed for Nationals in July.

Olivia definitely has her silly side!
We love this girl to the moon and back and are so proud of her caring nature, helpfulness to others, and dedication. It's been a tough year with virtual school, dance classes on Zoom, and cancellations too numerous to count, but she takes it all with a good heart and attitude. She's developed some great teaching skills this year as well.
